Tychanika “Tycha” Kimbrough is the Founding Attorney of Kimbrough Family Law, a premier divorce and family law firm. Tycha is known for her fearless advocacy, deep legal knowledge, and compassionate approach. Tycha is committed to protecting her clients’ children, assets, and peace of mind. Tycha earned her Juris Doctor and Professional Certificates in Family Law and Criminal Law from Baylor Law School and holds a Bachelor of Public Administration with High Honors from Texas State University. During law school, Tycha gained valuable experience through internships with the Honorable Judge Hoffman at the 68th Judicial District Court, the Honorable Justice Alvarez at the Fourth Court of Appeals, the McLennan County District Attorney’s Office, and Greater Waco Legal Services. Before establishing her firm, she further refined her legal knowledge as an Associate Attorney at a personal injury law firm. Tycha’s dedication to excellence has earned her numerous accolades, including recognition as an Austin Woman to Watch, a Top 40 Under 40 Lawyer, a Super Lawyer by Thomson Reuters, a Top Attorney by Austin Monthly, and peer reviewed as a Best Lawyer. Passionate about giving back, she leads voter education initiatives, mentorship programs for aspiring legal professionals, and volunteer efforts to promote equal access to justice. Outside of her legal practice, Tycha enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, networking, and traveling. Tycha also serves on the Board of Directors for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Travis County, supporting quality advocacy, a safe home, and a promising future for every child in our community. Tycha is also a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.
