Jhoanny Gonzalez 

Jhoanny Gonzalez is a dynamic divorce and family law attorney who brings a wealth of diverse experiences and unwavering dedication to serving Central Texas families. As a first-generation American, she leverages her cultural heritage and Spanish fluency to connect with and advocate for her community with empathy and precision.

Originally from Florida, Jhoanny earned her B.S. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Florida State University. During her time there, she gained profound, hands-on insight into the justice system by interning as a victim advocate—an experience that included working in the very jail cell once occupied by Ted Bundy. This formative role instilled in her a lifelong commitment to justice and public service.

Jhoanny’s journey continued when she moved to Texas with Teach for America in San Antonio, where she discovered her deep love for the state and its people. That passion spurred her to further her education, culminating in a J.D. from Baylor University School of Law. Throughout her career, she has embodied the belief expressed by Janet Reno: “Being a lawyer is not merely a vocation. It is a public trust, and each of us has an obligation to give back to our communities.” This guiding principle inspires her to provide zealous, personalized legal representation for each client.

Outside the courtroom, Jhoanny finds balance in nature walks, rock climbing, and spending quality time with family and friends.
