A proud double Longhorn, Alyse earned both her bachelor’s in social work and Juris Doctor from the University of Texas at Austin. She was awarded the prestigious G. Rollie White Public Interest Scholarship in recognition of her unwavering dedication to public service and child advocacy.

At law school, she excelled as a student attorney in the Children’s Rights Clinic and Disability Rights Clinic. Representing youth in CPS cases and securing crucial special education services, Alyse quickly gained courtroom experience—winning her first trial before graduating.
