Alyse Munrose
Associate Attorney
Alyse Munrose is a compassionate and skilled family law attorney who provides concierge-level legal services to clients facing divorce, custody disputes, and other complex family law matters. She brings a unique combination of courtroom experience, social work insight, and personalized client care to every case.
Alyse began her career in service to families as a social worker for Child Protective Services, where she supported children and parents through high-conflict and high-risk situations, including abuse, mental health crises, substance abuse, and poverty. This work laid the foundation for her deep understanding of family dynamics and fueled her decision to advocate for families in the courtroom.
A proud double Longhorn, Alyse earned both her Bachelor’s in Social Work and Juris Doctor from the University of Texas at Austin. She was awarded the G. Rollie White Public Interest Scholarship, recognizing her commitment to public service and child advocacy.
During law school, Alyse served as a student attorney in both the Children’s Rights Clinic and the Disability Rights Clinic, where she represented youth in CPS cases and helped secure vital special education services for students. She appeared in multiple court hearings in Travis County and earned her first trial victory prior to graduating.
At Kimbrough Legal, Alyse offers tailored, high-touch legal guidance rooted in empathy and results. Clients trust her to bring clarity to uncertainty and to guide them through every step of the legal process with respect, responsiveness, and strength. Outside of work, Alyse enjoys exploring Austin’s vibrant culture, laughing at a good comedy show, spending time with her senior dog, Zoey, and cherishing her role as “Auntie Alyse.”
